Ball Bearing Arbors

Quality arbors used by Covington for their vertical units with heavy duty ball bearings, neoprene sealed and greased for life. Rubber mounted in heavy aluminum castings with pulley, v-belt, flanges and nuts. 

Two-Station Closed Arbor

Arbor comes with nuts, 3" drive pulley, V-belt and two sets of 3" diameter flanges. Split housing, with closed front, locks together using two bolts. Each bearing is set on shaft with two set screws. Arbor can be disassembled and reassembled in minutes. 

The arbor shown is the same one used in Model No. 400 Grinder-Polisher.

Two-Station Open Arbor

Arbor comes with nuts, 3" drive pulley, V-belt and two sets of 3" diameter flanges. Split housing with open center, locks together using two bolts. Each bearing is set on shaft with two set screws.

The arbor and shim are the same parts used in Model No. 5050 Cork & Felt Polisher and Model No. 5051 Vertical Beveller & Edger.

This 10 5/8"L x 5"W x 2"H. Arbor shim will raise the No. 412 arbor 2"

Four Station Open Arbor

 

 

Build your own multi-purpose machine. No spacers needed.

Arbor will take large and small wheels, expando drum, tapered spindle, aluminum disc head and cone wheel; each individually secured to the shaft. To reverse the rotation of the shaft, turn arbor 180 degrees-the back side can be the front. Clam-type housing permits quick change of drive pulley.  Arbor comes with 3" diameter center drive pulley, but a larger pulley, up to 8" diameter can be installed.  Order the wheel guard, tanks and water systems you need and make the machine complete.

Arbor now includes CAS158 arbor shim.  (Shim raises arbor 2")

Arbor comes with nuts, 3" drive pulley, V-belt and four sets of 3" diameter flanges, Shaft includes 1/2" 20 X 1" long studs on each end. Two alternate sets of 2" diameter x 1/2" flanges are included. Each wheel is individually secured by one flange with set screws and floating flange with nut. 1" diameter shaft in center, outboard 5/8"

SP422--Heavy cast aluminum pan and hood. Fits wheels up to 10" in diameter.

 

SP 591--Powder Coated sheet metal pan and hood. Fits wheels up to 8" diameter. 5" wide hood can be assembled to 8" wide pan in left, center or right positions.

For Wheels that Rotate Up, or used for Vertical Glass Beveling

WG5056--Guard consists of tank, sponge bench and back plate. Removable tank sides permit easy wheel change. Adjustable sponge bench minimizes splash. Back plate with spray nozzle adjusts to fit 10, 8 and 6 inch wheels. Drain hole with plastic  Guard Size 14"L x 5"W x 14"H.

For low water, high access grinding

SP541--Powder Coated sheet metal pan & hood Designed especially for low water, high access grinder.  Excellent for almost any glass studio. Pan dimensions are 15" x 8" x 2", Hood 8" x 1" x 15". Glass Pan 18" L x 10" W x 6" H.

Model P Arbor

 

Self contained Rock Rascal arbor. A compact 6" arbor with sealed ball bearings, all aluminum construction.  The pans and splash shield are built in. You can mount up to 6 x 1-1/2 wheels or drums. This unit is ready water and drain hookup.  Size is 9 1/2" X 7 1/2" X 7 1/2".
