This sander features the No. 464 unit with 1/3 HP, 110V motor and belt guard mounted on a rustproof Aluminum Lam-I-Cushion base. Water valve and spray nozzle is built in for easy hookup. These belts are to be used on a standard 6" and 8" expando drums.  This Fast Cutting abrasive is another 3M innovation! Micron Graded silicon carbide abrasive coated over polyester film. This new product provides precise, consistently uniform, close tolerance finishes. Consistent particle size allows you to move from step to step much faster. And with less "back stepping due to odd scratches". The 9 micron belt is aluminum oxide, this will produce a superior finish in the finer mesh sizes.
