Galaxy Wheels give you the lasting service because of their quality construction. The diamonds are held on a heavy steel ring by an extremely hard, nickel alloy plating for durability. The ring is mounted on a tough glass-filled polyester core, making the Galaxies a smooth, quiet running wheel. Galaxy Diamond Wheels are clean to use. Because the wheels themselves don't wear away as silicon carbide wheels do, you don't get all the mess. You only need a small amount of water to keep the wheels and your stone wet, and to keep down the rock dust. Galaxy wheels have a 1 inch arbor hole. THESE ARE NO LONGER SUPPLIED WITH BUSHINGS. If your cabber requires bushings, save bushings from old wheels. If you need to order bushings, Galaxy 2", 4", and 6" wheels take one 1" thick bushing. 7 5/8" Galaxy wheels take two 3/4" thick bushings. Galaxy Standard Wheels give you a wide choice of grit and wheel sizes to fit your needs. The diamond shaped, interrupted pattern of the Hex Wheels in 80, 60 and 30 grit sizes make them coarsest, fastest grinding wheels available. Important: All Galaxy Wheels must be used with water.

NOVA RESIN-BOND DIAMOND SANDING
& POLISHING WHEELS MADE IN
With Nova Wheels, sanding and polishing stones doesnt have to be a tiresome battle with flat spots and scratches. Nova Wheels get results fast. The diamonds are embedded within a tough, flexible plastic resin and backed by an extra soft, thick sponge rubber. This SOFT, FLEXIBLE construction enables the surface of the wheel to conform to your stones, eliminating flat spots and deep scratches. Important: All Nova Wheels must be used with water.
We recommend that Novas be used in sets rather than in combination with other types of sanding and polishing wheels. Our new all-purpose sequence is the 280, 600, 1200, and 3,000 grit wheels, followed by the use of a high-grade 14,000 diamond compound. This combination will put an excellent polish on most stones. Some hard-to-polish materials may require more steps following the 3,000 grit Nova Wheel such as 8,000 and 14,000 grit Nova Wheels or diamond compound. Other polishes such as cerium or tin oxide on a polishing pad will also give excellent results in many cases.
DIAMOND PACIFIC NOVA WHEELS have 1" arbor holes, AND NO LONGER COME SUPPLIED WITH BUSHINGS. If your cabber requires bushings, save bushings from old wheels. Grid-A-Brade Fast-Change System
With Metal Bonded Diamond Grinding Disc
This new magnetic mounting system allows you to use one head for all grinding operations. Simply attach the adhesive-backed, flexible magnetic holder to the grinding head. No additional adhesive or shaft nuts are required. Your grinding head is now ready to take diamond cutting discs. When you are through with one grit size, simply lift off and position the next disc. It's that easy!
The coarse grit discs (100 grit) are used where large amounts of material are removed. This could be removing the saw marks from a surface or grinding the part to shape. Because of the large diamond size, the grinding rate is high and the disc life is long.
The medium grit discs (200 grit) are used to quickly improve the surface finish left by the coarse grit and prepare the sample for the finer grinding. It also extends the life of the fine grit discs because it leaves a smoother surface finish.
The fine grit discs (600 grit) quickly removes the 200-230 grit finish and prepares the surface for pre-polish. Diamond compound can be used as a pre-polish (8,000 mesh) or final polish (14,000-50,000 mesh) on the polish plate.
Diamond compound is available in syringes that make it easy to apply. Along the sides of the syringes are graduated marks that let you know how much to use. Apply the compound in tiny dots. After the dots have been applied, spread them evenly across the pad with your finger tip. To finish spreading the diamond, add a few drops of diamond extender fluid. Again, spread it with your finger tip. Rotate the part being ground and check frequently for overheating. You can make the work surface cooler by adding an occasional drop of extender fluid and moving the part toward the center of the plate. Recharge the plate only when necessary.
